While it's nice to file mutiple returns I sort of liked the online version better and may go back.ġ) They keep you history (I think of this as a plus even though some are concerned) - The worst case scenario of a data breach seems small to me and the conveneince of it being online every year is pretty nice. If you want to stay current, you have two choices - renew online when prompted, or buy a CD version with a code for renewal (cheaper if you look around). If you don't renew, Quicken loses all ability to download data. They can't very well get people to keep paying in 2023 for tax year 2021 software.

The software is only good for that year's return.
